Training - Sewing Unit
The Sewing Unit is a Sheltered Occupational Service providing training in sewing skills to adults. These skills range from hand sewing to machine sewing and over locking.
The unit produces quality industrial cleaning cloths, which are over locked on a daily basis.
This production process provides the service users with training in the areas of weighing and packaging before the end product is distributed to a network of customers nationwide. The weekly programme consists of a variety of activities including Drama, Music, P.E., Swimming, Art and social outings.
